PROFILE OF BRO. THOMAS RAY FRIERSON
His parents
are Mr. And Mrs. Robert Lee Frierson of Mt. Pleasant,
Tennessee. He is the third of 10 children of this union
and the second Son. Bro. Thomas grew up in Mount
Pleasant, Tennessee and graduated with honors from Mount
Pleasant High School. He earned an Associate of Science
Degree in Accounting from Columbia State Community
College. He is also a graduate of the Nashville School of
Preaching. He is employed by Innophos Inc. Nashville
Tennessee, and has worked for this company for 32 Years
and presently serves as Stores/ Receiving Agent in the
Maintenance Department.
He enjoys Reading, Fishing, Basketball, Baseball and
Sports in general. He is a member of the TSSAA as a
Basketball Referee. He was awarded the A.F. Bridges
Sportsmanship Award in 2000 and 2005 recognizing him for
displaying the high ideals of integrity and ethics and
for the examples of citizenship and sportsmanship. Bro.
Frierson has coached and umpired Little League Baseball
and coached Intermediate Basketball Teams.
Bro. Frierson has been preaching the Gospel of Christ
Since 1991 and is the Minister of the Carmack Boulevard
Church Of Christ In Columbia, Tennessee where has served
as their minister since 1999. He has held Gospel
meetings, been a presenter on the 2005 National
Lectureship of the Churches of Christ and a proclaimer of
the Gospel and Panelist on our Tennessee State
Lectureship 2004 and speaker on Tennessee State
Lectureship in 2005 and 2008. He served as Program
Committee Chairman on the 2007 Tennessee State
Lectureship. In 2007 selected, Bro. Frierson was selected
to serve on the Tennessee State Youth Conference Steering
Committee and the Tennessee State Lectureship Steering
Committee. He also served as a board member of the
Lampton St. Church of Christ School of Preaching, Mound
Bayou, Mississippi.
Bro. Thomas met and married the former April Renee Browne
of Detroit, Michigan and to this union are three
children: India Nicole, Thomas Ray II, and Miracle
Angelique. They reside in Columbia, Tennessee.
